Achievement for All Education Trust is an independent not for profit company that provides high-value, high-quality support to schools, to transform the lives of all children n and young people.
Based in Newbury, Berkshire the Trust began in September 2018 working with its first academy and as we move into our second year, we are looking for new non-Exec Directors to broaden the skill set and support our expansion strategy and plans in the South.

The Trust seeks individuals who can commit to its values and principles and possess short and long-term strategic vision and understand the difference between the Executive’s role in operation and delivery compared to the Trust board’s role in setting the strategy and providing good governance.
As the Trust is on a growth trajectory, experience of managing and overseeing the complexities and challenges of growth in a medium-sized non-profit or charity is highly desirable. Experience in managing risk, especially in relation to growth, is likewise highly desirable.
We would be particularly pleased to hear from candidates with
- Accountancy and audit (ideally a qualified accountant and/or experience in working with school or academy trust finance)
- Asset management / premises management (ideally a surveyor or former Academy Trust or LA Premises manager)

The role is unremunerated however travel expenses will be covered to attend meetings in Newbury.
